Come and find out more about our internship programme starting late Summer 2026. 

Internships last 3 weeks, start in June or July, and you’ll be paid £455 per week.

You'll need to be studying for a related undergraduate or master's degree and interested in teaching one of the following:

• chemistry
• computing
• design and technology
• languages
• maths
• physics

If you’re interested in teaching a different subject, you can still get school experience and find out what it’s like to be in a classroom, but you will not receive the weekly payment. 

You'll get a feel for what life as a teacher is like. Your internship will give you an opportunity to:

• shadow experienced teachers and observe lessons
• jointly plan and teach lessons
• get one-to-one guidance from outstanding classroom teachers and subject specialists
• see what school life is like for a teacher outside of the classroom

Our programme will run from Thursday 25 June, through to Wednesday 15th July 2006

APPLY - Places are limited. If your degree does not naturally align please explain in detail in the 300 word response area why for example you have a degree in Biology but are applying to observe and intern in French.

Non-UK citizens: teaching internships -  To apply for a teaching internship, you must be studying for an undergraduate or master's degree and have the right to work in the UK.

If you are in your FIRST year of your degree you can express your interest in our 2027 programme.
